Ingenico group is a global leader in seamless payment services. It provides smart, trusted and secure solutions to empower commerce across all channels: in store, online and on mobile. Ingenico ePayments counts some of the biggest players in the e-commerce business and accommodates over 70,000 merchants active in online sales.

Ingenico wanted to modernize all of its information systems. The project aims to leverage data for both the organization's various internal departments and for Ingenico's customers. The initiative to make data available to an external audience consists of deploying a set of high value-added dashboards for more than 70,000 merchants (performance measurement per establishment, benchmark...). 
 

  • Omnichannel reporting capabilities with a central repository of the unique merchant reference data model across the group
  • Set up the foundations to use data on a real-time basis for enhanced product functionalities, such as fraud detection or acquirer routing
  • Data monetization by developing new products including the use of external data and partnerships
  • Predictive and prescriptive capacities, such as churn prediction and terminal repair optimization

  • A central repository of core data assets answering different functionalities and data consumption 

  • Data lake for analytical, operational and real time data consumption mode 

  • Shared MDM functionality with semantic convergence across production platforms (glossary of terms, group hierarchies) 

  • Enterprise data warehouse with single version of truth and historization of data 

  • Operational reporting & Advanced Analytics capabilities 

  • Enterprise Data Office organization with joint collaboration with Information Architecture 

  • Data management functions & process with adequate governance bodies
